The Band Lab was born from a legacy of hard work, discipline, and a belief that athletes deserve training that actually prepares them for the game.
It started with Pat Adams, who launched Xpress Sports Training with one mission: to give athletes the tools to push past limits and unlock their full potential. Pat’s passion for sports performance quickly made Xpress a staple in the Cleveland suburbs — a place where athletes came to work harder, move faster, and rise higher.
But the story didn’t end there. The true inspiration for the gym was Pat’s son, Ryan Adams. Growing up, Ryan lived the athlete’s grind — the early mornings, the practices, the setbacks, the comebacks. He understood firsthand what athletes needed to stay strong, stay fast, and stay in the game.
When Pat passed the gym to Ryan, the vision evolved. With years of experience training athletes at every level — from high school standouts to college programs to NFL stars like Nick Chubb, Marshon Lattimore, and Martin Emerson Jr. — Ryan took what his father built and elevated it.
Today, The Band Lab is more than a training facility. It’s a family-built legacy, fueled by innovation, athlete-first methodology, and the same values that started it all: discipline, resilience, and results that show up on game day.
Here, athletes don’t just train.
They transform.
